"Technical lectures mixed with practical applications" could be the best phrase to explain the structure of an EESTEC workshop. During an EESTEC workshop, EE/CS students from various faculties meet, learn, share and communicate all together. An EESTEC workshop's main topic cold be anything related to the EE/CS area, it is possible to attend a workshop in Croatia mainly discussing about Digital Image Processing using MATLAB by professors from Finland, and then, you may find yourself in Nish for another EESTEC activity which consists of a variety of topics concerning Information Technologies such as e-business start up, doing busines over the internet and  e-learning.

Our workshops are mainly scheduled as a mixture, consisting of theoretical lecutres and presentations by various professors from academy and masters from industry, and pratical applications managed in the top laboratories of the host university and visiting companies which are related to the topic of the workshop. To sum up, to see the big picture, during an EESTEC workshop, EESTEC bridges students, universities and companies, which is the main aim of the organisation as presented in the Statutes.

Beyond the practical and theoratical benefit to our members, one of our aims is to promote our workshops as "official educational events" to the universities in Europe, therefore, we hand out a participation certificate to every participant attending an EESTEC event, signed by the chairman of the host LC and the trainers and lecturers during the event.  And thanks to this official document, it is possible to receive ECTS credits for students who return back to their faculty and see the absolute benefit of attending an EESTEC workshop for their education.

And as a principle, there is no participation fee to an EESTEC workshop, all food, accomodation and local transport are covered by the organiser LC. So, it is inevitable to see the benefits of EESTEC to the education of a student in Europe, and that's why, we are proud to say that EESTEC members are always one step forward than their colleagues both in academical( theoratical) and industrial( practical) views.
